Brian McComas Brian McComas BiographyBrian was born in Bethesda, Maryland, but moved to Harrison, Arkansas at the age of four. He grew up in the Ozark Mountains where he developed his love and passion for all types of music, but set out to pursue a career in Country Music as a singer/songwriter when he moved to Nashville in the late 1990s.
Brian's songwriting led to his first publishing deal and eventually his record contract with Disney's Lyric Street Records in late 2000. His self-titled debut album produced four top 40 hits including the top 10 hit "99.9% Sure" and the follow-up top 20 single "You're In My Head". In addition, Brian enjoyed success on all country music video outlets boasting continual airplay. That success led to a full schedule of touring dates in the beginning of his career, including spots on CMT's "Most Wanted Live" arena tour and the "Coors Light Melt Tour" with Rascal Flatts. Those tours, coupled with his appearances in clubs, fairs, festivals and amphitheatres across the country, gave Brian the opportunity to impact hundreds of thousands of people. "Playing to those sell-out crowds laid the foundation for the new music. I'm excited to hit the road because this album was made to play live." says Brian.
In early 2006, Brian was signed to a new record label, Katapult Records, and released the album Back Up Again in August 2006. |
